About IQAC
Internal Quality Assurance Cell
The IQAC was established in our University on August 14, 2019. The purpose of the IQAC is to ensure quality of teaching, learning skills, research, infrastructure and facilities. It interacts with Students, Teachers and Management to ensure co-ordination for quality maintenance. The IQAC team analyzes and ensures if the facilities which are given to the students are adequate or not.IQAC team is always receptive to new ideas generated for improvement in the quality of education and research for Higher Education.
Mission
- Continuous Quality Improvement: To establish and maintain a robust system for continuous assessment and enhancement of academic, administrative, and infrastructural processes.
- Observance to Accreditation Standards: To ensure compliance with NAAC and other accreditation bodies’ standards, promoting transparency and accountability in all university activities.

- Empowerment of Stakeholders: The IQAC seeks to empower all stakeholders (faculty, students, administration, and the community) to actively participate in quality enhancement activities, creating a sense of ownership towards quality in education

Objectives of IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Netaji Subhas University (NSU), Jamshedpur is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence in academics, research, and administration. The key objectives of IQAC at NSU are:
- To enhance the existing working strategies of Netaji Subhas University for academic and administrative quality enhancement.
- To work in harmony with Netaji Subhas University’s internal Cells/Committees for developing the systems.
- To align with the objectives and collaborate with external agencies to enhance the architectural teaching and learning process.
- To undertake quality-related research studies, consultancy and training programmes.
Functions of IQAC
The IQAC of Netaji Subhas University is constituted to achieve the following functions :
- Establishing Quality Standards – Developing and implementing benchmarks for academic and administrative excellence.
- Enhancing Teaching & Learning – Promoting innovative, student-centric teaching methodologies.
- Faculty Development Programs – Organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions for skill enhancement.
- Continuous Academic Improvement – Monitoring and improving curriculum, assessment, and evaluation methods.
- Stakeholder Feedback System – Gathering input from students, faculty, and parents for institutional growth.
- Data Management & Documentation – Maintaining records for accreditation and compliance.
- Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) – Compiling and submitting reports to regulatory bodies.
- Promoting Research & Innovation – Encouraging faculty and students to engage in research activities.
- Best Practices Implementation – Adopting and promoting globally recognized academic and administrative strategies.
- Institutional Coordination – Acting as a central unit for quality assurance initiatives across departments.
